New Business Consultant

Located: Home-based but will be required to travel to company offices in Bristol once a week.
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum (base) + commission + company car

We are looking for a New Business Consultant for one of our great clients.

Job Purpose:
To identify sales opportunities for government funded and full cost recovery training within an allotted sales territory, maintain good after-sales relationships, keep records of customer appointments and completed sales, and provide detailed information on the products sold. It is also important to regularly update product knowledge, as well as the wider skills required to successfully deliver the objectives of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the benefits of Apprenticeships & Traineeships to employers within a defined territory.
  • Interview and assess applicants and match to available vacancies.
  • Attend School career events to promote the company and register interest.
  • Attend industry events to promote the company and research developments.
  • Understand and promote other products - IMI Accreditation, IRTEC, Online Courses, Short Courses, MOT.
  • Record all sales activity and report regularly to line manager.
  • Attend meetings with other departments as required.
  • Achieve and exceed targets.
  • Continuously research for business opportunities to enhance company income.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks/Standards and funding is always up to date.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position as may be required to ensure the efficient operation of the company.
