Our client is seeking an Apprenticeship Quality Manager responsible for the effective design and management of all apprenticeship quality processes, to meet requirements of ESFA, Awarding Bodies and OFSTED to support our employer-provider status.

Principle Responsibilities in key areas include:

· Ensure quality and compliance standards are created and maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted/ESFA/Awarding bodies and other funding organisations

· Responsible for completing self assessments reports and lead on creating and managing quality improvement plans

· Review and advise on all the quality and learning activities required by Government and to ensure effective delivery of the apprenticeship through working closely with the relevant L&D academies to implement effective solutions

· Lead all standardization meetings, ensuring a high quality assurance process for all teaching, learning and assessment to support positive apprentice learner outcomes

· Produce regular reports and insight on quality performance across all apprenticeships and ensures continuous improvement

· Support the Early Careers Lead as ‘head of centre’ by ensuring the assessment and internal quality assurance of the apprenticeships are following the centre policies and procedures at all times

· Ensure all apprenticeship processes, practice and policy documentation is up to date and is quality assured

· Responsible for quality assuring assessor development and practice to ensure all documentation is produced to a high standard and on time.

· Support the interpretation and translation of requirements of new apprenticeship standards and end point assessments (EPA) for internal delivery into relevant workplace activities to ensure quality assured.

· Support the Apprenticeship manager with any service reviews with external providers to ensure their quality processes are adhered to for apprentices

· SME lead for Apprenticeship Quality standards, ensuring keep up to date with the latest trends

Required key skills (functional / technical)

• Experience of managing a similar quality role
• Excellent knowledge and experience of using the smartassessor tool
• Experience of managing quality processes to ensure high retention, success rates and consistency is maintained
• Experience and knowledge of completing Ofsted/ESFA related activities (such as self assessments and quality improvement plans)
• Excellent understanding of the quality standards set by Ofsted
• Good understanding of all apprenticeship funding
• Qualified Lead IQA
• Proven subject matter expert in apprenticeships with a strong delivery focus.
• Ability to build trust and be credible at different levels within the organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong stakeholder management and customer oriented.
• Ability to take initiative, and a self starter
• Must be flexible with national travel
