Job Purpose:
Ownership of the ESF Programme. Managing a team and performance to ensure seamless and quality driven delivery alongside the management of subcontractors - facilitating opportunities for growth and development for my client that lead on from this programmeResponsibilities:
• Overall ownership of the delivery of the ESF programme.
• Develop and deliver an Implementation Plan for the project.
• Develop processes and procedures that are ESF compliant, and meet the evidence/audit requirements.
• Advise, support and inform partners on project development, implementation and reporting.
• Line management of all delivery staff to ensure a high-quality experience is delivered to all participants and employers, and key ESF priorities are met.• To manage subcontractors and their performance; engage with and support them in developing their programmes that deliver on the ESF Project outcomes.
• Management of subcontractors, including contract meetings and management of subcontractors risk rating. Managing support and inventions as required.
• Working with Training and Quality Manager to oversee quality audits/observations/complaints/ compliments.
• Understanding of ESF Rules and Regulations, as well as governance and compliance with all associated funding rules, ESF regulations, and awarding organisation regulations are delivered.
• Management of all key KPI’s, including contract performance and quality of delivery. • Building strong client relationships, in order to facilitate opportunities for growth and development of programmes to support the delivery of the wider programme.• Managing all programme data collection, including participation and progression data to maximise contract performance.
• To manage and coordinate the Project Board/Advisory Group.
• To liaise with project partners, delivery partners and stakeholders and the Managing Authorities as required.
• To prepare reports and presentations to assist with the promotion of ESF externally and for accountability purposes.• To report to the contracting authority on project delivery and outcomes, and attend progress meetings with the MD.
• Produce monthly reports to the Board.
• Work closely with our Associate Director - Sales and Marketing - to maximise apprenticeship and further training progression opportunities for learners and employers engaged with the programme
• Take an active role in the selection of new team members, ensuring sufficient capacity to meet current and pipeline learner volumes.• Work with the Programme Manager to mobilise the my client direct delivery element of the contract.
• Prepare the specification and manage the delivery of the Pan London Early Years Job Vacancy website.• Ensure high standards of health and safety at all times in accordance with regulations and policy, notifying the line manager or appropriate manager of any risks.
• To collect information about project outcomes and successes
• Undertake observations and reviews to monitor trainer/assessor performance and progress. • Monitor quality of teaching and learning materials and OneFile set up and use in line with standardisation/directionRequirements:
Essential
• A team player with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners at all levels.
• Strong experience in managing training delivery programmes, on time, in budget, and with the deliverable outcomes achieved.
• Excellent people management skills and knowledge of executing relevant HR processes.
• Strong drive to achieve commercial results.• The necessary experience, skills and personal qualities to develop outstanding relationships with both internal and external clients.
• High ethical, professional and administrative standards with a focus on accurate documentation and filing (to be compliant with EU regulations)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Good presentation skillsDesirable
• Knowledge of Early Years Sector.
• An ability to identify commercial opportunities to maximise income within the department in line with my client's strategic plan.
• Previous experience of European Social Funding
• A teaching qualification at level 4 or above, PGCE, DTTLS.
