The National Skills Agency are recruiting for an Account Manager for a leading client of ours.
This provider has experienced tremendous growth during the tail end of 2020, and they’re looking to continue this trajectory well into 2021. They offer a diverse of different Apprenticeship Standards from Management, through to HR, L&D, Procurement and many others.

This is a great opportunity for the right person, who will be responsible for proactively developing and maintaining strong client relationships, as well as be involved in Business Development activities.

The Account Manager will act as an ‘ambassador’ for apprenticeships for our client.

What we’re looking for:
 Someone who’s pragmatic, determined and honest
 A “self-starter” that’s comfortable working both remotely and office-based
 Be a quick learner, and be able to have a sound grasp of the various Apprenticeship Standard
that our client offers
 Friendly and outgoing
 Someone with a sound knowledge of selling Apprenticeship programmes

Key Requirements:
 Be the “face of the business” for the end-employers; deepening relationships and truly
becoming partners to our client’s clients.
 Working consultatively with client to develop their current L&D offering, suggesting ways
that programmes can be enhanced, expanded and refined.
 Spot business opportunities wherever possible, seek referrals and constantly be “on the
pulse” of the market
 Work with the Sales Directors and other internal stakeholders to ensure what’s been agreed
to is actually delivered
 Monitor and feedback on client satisfaction
 Be a quick learner, and be able to have a sound grasp of the various Apprenticeship Standard that our client offers

We do need someone that comes from an Apprenticeship background for this role. This would suit either a Business Development or Employer Engagement Professional, or an established Account Manager that’s comfortable working in a Business Development capacity as required by the business. Ideally we’re looking for someone to be West-Midlands based, as once we’re out of the “Covid” era, frequent travel to our clients West-Midlands office would be required.
