The Program Manager is an integral part of the Operations, expert at managing the day to day organization and delivery of the complex and high value apprenticeship programs to ensure they are delivered to a very high standard and maintain high apprentice achievement and satisfaction.


Program Management
  • Proactive management of their Apprenticeship programs to ensure programs run smoothly
  • To be the main point of contact for assigned faculty to ensure their courses are prepared in time to the standard required, supporting them in their teaching and being responsible for the success of the course
  • The Apprenticeships Program Manager will lead the Program Team (coordinators/managers) to ensure excellent administration of financial data, enrollment, assessment, marking & results dissemination, attendance, and course delivery

Apprentice Support​​​​​​​
  •  The Apprenticeships Program Manager will work with the Programs Director and Support Team Leaders to support apprentices with going on/returning from leave of absence, progression management, academic probation, handling academic disciplinary issues and any requests with transition to or from the programs.
  • Assist Apprenticeships Senior Leadership and Apprentice Support Team with orientation, graduation, recruitment events, and arrangements for any other events as appropriate

Operational Support
  • The Apprenticeships Program Manager will proactively identify resource needs, solving independently or working with others to do so, delegating work effectively to these
  • Understanding and knowledge of application of content (academics) in support of student progress/market need – developing supplementary materials as required
  • Manage other ad-hoc internal projects as required from time to time by Line Manager providing support

Experience and skills:
  • The Apprenticeships Program Manager will have experience of Apprenticeships and/or further & higher education sector preferred.
  • Educated to degree level or relevant business qualification
  • Experience with CRM and Learning Management Systems is desirable but not essential and full training will be given
  • The Apprenticeships Program Manager will have a confident user of Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
