To provide a high standard of inspirational training, assessment, support and review to a caseload of Apprentices across the Supply Chain Warehouse Supervisor sector ensuring they successfully complete their apprenticeship within the agreed timeframe of their Individual Learning Plan and company Key Performance Targets.

  • The post holder will be responsible for the administration of the learners within their allocated caseload. 
  • Ensure the learner has been correctly enrolled onto a programme of study for which they are eligible and is appropriate to their job role and academic level.
  • Complete all “on programme” paperwork in accordance with ESFA funding guidelines ensuring minimum error risk.
  • Ensure all completion paperwork is correctly signed off and returned to the main office within an acceptable timeframe.
  • The Post Holder will be required to provide and support inspirational teaching, learning and assessment for a caseload of Apprentices. This will typically require (but not exhaustive) 
  • Induct all learners onto their appropriate programme of study.
  • Create, agree and review assessment/learning plans for each learner.
  • Collate evidence of teaching, learning and assessment using the e-portfolio system
  • Maintain regular contact (at a minimum monthly) with learners using a variety of communication methods (face to face visits, e-portfolio, email, telephone, Skype, Teams etc.) ensuring a record of all contact is maintained and evidenced for compliance.
  • Use a variety of assessment methods to collect evidence ensuring the evidence collected meets the standards set out by the qualification and provide the learner with detailed feedback on performance.
  • Coach, support and prepare the learner for the End Point Assessment (EPA) conducting, mock tests in all elements of the EPA. When appropriate gain agreement with the learner and employer that the learner is suitably trained to undertake the EPA.
Person Specification:
  • Assessor Qualifications D32, D33 A1 or TAQA 
  • Vocational Qualification/Occupational Competence 
  • GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent English, Maths & ICT 
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Teaching or equivalent 
  • Level 5 qualification or Degree 
  • Quality Assurance qualifications D32 V1 or IQA 
  • Mentoring and/or Coaching qualification 
  • Information, Advice and Guidance qualification 
  • End Point Assessment Qualification 
  • Experience of teaching, learning & assessment 
  • Experience of E-Portfolio (Onefile preferably) 
  • Understanding of Ofsted Education Inspection Framework 
  • Understanding of End Point Assessment & Grading System 
  • Understanding of ESFA funding rules 2019 
  • Understanding of Apprenticeship Levy/Co-Funding 
  • Understanding of Invigilation processes
