Description
Candidates need to be occupationally competent in all elements of joinery, as well as have
an awareness of standards associated with the joinery provision.
This role will encompass L1 study program, as well as Level 2 standards. An awareness of
both is essential.
 
Main duties:
 The Joinery Tutor will lead by example and demonstrate leading competencies and
practices across the business unit and company.
 Deliver effective and efficient assessment processes that enable individual learners
to progress towards and achieve identified milestones in a timely manner, supported
by fair and consistent judgement of valid, reliable, sufficient, and authentic
evidence. 
 The Joinery Tutor will support learners in line with their individual needs, provide
appropriate IAG and refer for additional support to ensure that individual learners
continue to progress in relation to their starting point, achieve in a timely manner
and are enabled to progress to positive destinations.
 The Joinery Tutor will continuously review and reflect on own practice development
needs and undertake CPD as required to improve own contribution to the work of
the Delivery Team and the company as a whloe.
 Monitor and respond to learner and employer feedback to continuously improve the
learning experience for individuals and groups.
About You:
 The Joinery Tutor will have the ability to develop assessment and Internal Quality
Assurance processes
 Sector/Area experience and knowledge of provision required.
 Effective & professional communication with Learners/Employers/colleagues
Requirements:
 Qualified IQA (V1) 
 Qualified Assessor (A1 or TAQA)
 Ability to comply on Internal Quality Assurance Policies and Procedure
