- This is a hybrid role.
The role primarily is designed to support all data and compliance elements ofgovernment-funded Apprenticeships within the Academy, working to high levels ofaccuracy and delivering good customer service to learners and colleagues.The role will be responsible for reviewing learner eligibility, compiling and managingenrolment paperwork and submitting accurate data that is compliant to ESFArequirements.
This role will report into the Data and Compliance Manager.
Main Duties:- Entry of accurate data into the Open Elms Learner management system and
- Apprenticeship Service Account
- Preparing, communicating, and tracking of enrolment paperwork (via online
- forms) for new apprenticeship programmes
- Screening/processing of apprenticeship application forms and compiling and
- completing prior learning assessments
- Supporting all data and compliance elements of Apprenticeship programmes,
- including; auditing paperwork/learning evidence as part of processing learner
- records/changes (e.g. starts, leavers, achievers), submitting monthly funding
- claims, and identifying issues with, cleaning and reporting on data through
- PDSAT & BI Tools
- Acting as the first point of contact to respond to internal and external enquiries
- directed to the Operations team and Open eLMS users
- Supporting the Data & Compliance Manager with systems, processes and
- reporting to capture and share learner information within our clients Academy
- As part of CPD, staying up to date with government funding rules and
- requirements to offer guidance and support to the rest of the Academy
- Completing internal compliance audits and supporting the preparation of
- paperwork for any ESFA audits and/or Ofsted inspections
- Posting vacancies on the government portal for external clients and assisting with
- learner recruitment and assessment activity
- Operations Inbox: responding to all queries within 24 hours, actioning
- promptly and passing on to others where needed. All communications to be
- clear, accurate and deliver good customer service to both external and
- internal recipients.
- Ensuring that all tasks are covered by others in the team during periods of leave
Qualifications and skills- Experience of working in training and education is essential, with knowledge and
- experience of data and compliance standards within apprenticeships.
- Ability to manage a busy workload effectively and work calmly under pressure
- Organised with great attention to detail
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Highly collaborative, with good inter-personal skills. Works well in team or
- independent situations
- Can-do attitude, good problem solver
