Description
Our client is looking for a Curriculum Manager to lead on the development and growth of an effective apprenticeships provision. To monitor and manage a team of delivery staff to provide a positive, pro-active approach to apprenticeship learning which delivers outstanding outcomes for students and employers. Other responsibilities include:
 
  • Assisting the Head of Apprenticeships and Business Development Manager in achieving enrolment and income targets.
  • Ensuring that the client meets its achievement (timely and overall) targets.
  • Driving improvements and growth in Apprenticeships.
  • Ensuring the function is always audit and Ofsted ready.
  • Achieving KPl's including delivering the agreed achievement, growth and budget targets.
  • Ensuring that all curriculum delivery is up to date based on current guidance
  • Improve achievement retention outcomes
  • Increasing the timeliness of achievements.
  • Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery model, ensuring high standards throughout.
  • Provide timely reports, attend internal and external meetings and deliver presentations as appropriate
  • Appropriate Off the Job training records
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment are achieved
  • Support the Head of Department to generate, develop and maintain excellent sustainable relationships with customers, partners and colleagues at all levels, local, regional and national.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with Company Policy.
  • Complete online Safeguarding and Prevent qualifications at 3 year intervals and attend annual updates
 
 
Personal Specification
 
  • An appropriate academic or professional qualification at degree or higher degree level or equivalent
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Level two qualifications in Maths and English
  • Safeguarding and Prevent Level 1 Certificate (or a willingness to work towards one within a stipulated time period
  • Demonstrate good professional communication skills including oral, written and active listening
