- We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and committed Curriculum Manager in Electrical Installations to join our clients successful team. To lead and manage the delivery of high-quality learning opportunities for all students across designated groups and courses. Work with external partners to develop business opportunities within the curriculum area.
The candidate will manage provision and resources across further education, part time and apprenticeships. The successful candidate will also have a background in teaching and learning fundamental skills and knowledge and aim to achieve excellent outcomes. Whilst also being highly experienced with organisational and management skills and will lead a high performing delivery team of staff.
Responsibilities include:
Operational Delivery - The Curriculum Manager plans, prioritises and supervises his/her own work to ensure:
- All certification applications are processed timely and effectively.
- Technical reports are reviewed.
- Delivery of projects.
- Project plans are maintained accurately so as to ensure business finances are accurately with up-to-date data.
- Proactively identifies new and/or amended product standards/directives and ensures qualifications are kept up to date and relevant to current qualification needs and awarding bodies.
- Proactively develops and maintain excellent relationships with current and potential clients.
- May act as account manager for several key clients.
- The role is customer-focused delivering a range of courses and dealing with Awarding Bodies, Tutors, Partners and EQAs.
Job description:
The Electrical Curriculum Manger will oversee all of the delivery of the following City & Guilds qualifications that they deliver:
- Electric Vehicle Charging Installations
- Requirements for Electrical Installations – 18th Edition
- Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing
- Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
- Electrotechnical Craft
- Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings
- Plumbing/Electrical Installation
- Electrotech Apprenticeship Qualifications
- Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification
- Building Service Studies
- Electrical Equipment Maintenance Testing
- Installation, Service and Maintenance of Environmental Technology Systems
- Training/Assessing or Teaching qualification is desirable.
- Have experience in delivering the above courses or have a keen interest in and past occupational experience within this role.
- Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
- Enjoy listening to others, engaging groups and giving feedback Have experience of Excel, Microsoft and PowerPoint.
- Level 3 Training/Assessing or Teaching qualification such as PGCE / QTS (or similar)
- Knowledge of the stated qualifications or have delivered them before.
- Worked in the sector for 3 years or more
