- Our client is looking for an experienced Engineering BTEC Trainer to join their team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be able to teach up to HNC level 4 in subjects such as Design, Engineering Maths, Science, Mechanical Principles, Maintenance Procedures and Techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering lectures and practical sessions to students up to HNC level 4 in Engineering BTEC courses
- Designing and developing course content that meets the needs of the learners
- Setting and marking assignments, providing feedback to students, and monitoring their progress
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of Engineering BTEC
- Providing pastoral care and support to students as needed
Requirements:
- A relevant Engineering qualification (HND/HNC or higher)
- Previous experience teaching Engineering BTEC courses up to HNC level 4
- Excellent knowledge of subjects such as Design, Engineering Maths, Science, Mechanical Principles, Maintenance Procedures and Techniques
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Experience with online learning platforms and resources is desirable.
