Position Overview
This exciting role of IQA role is being advertised to relentlessly drive Quality Assurance across the provisions our client offers. The post holder will work actively with the Lead Quality Assurer and Quality Manager’s together with other IQA’s to deliver an innovative and exciting Quality Assurance strategy for all Learners, Employers and staff.

Role Responsibilities:
- To fully support the strategic overview and implementation of the quality assurance across the business working together with the Lead IQA and quality teams.
- To support the implementation and current learning systems and processes across the business to incorporate new curriculum builds alongside out learner management system developer.
- To support a company – wide strategy on continuous improvement for Quality assurance with focus on high expectations and a strong focus for outstanding experiences for our clients staff, employers and learners
- Design scheme of learning in line with the qualification specification and the planned assessments, where all the learning outcomes and the ranges have been addressed.
- Work alongside the wider teams and content/ Curriculum writer to ensure collaborative working and
- innovative curriculum designs are created. Including training resource development. Ensuring that tasks are fit for purpose and appropriate for the level of the qualification and presented in a manner which may be clearly understood by the learners.
- Keep accurate and updated Records documenting all findings when sampling assessments.
- Sample apprentice portfolios in a timely manner at different milestones in the learner journey following the sampling strategy.
- Re-visit any sampling which was not up to standard when the first sampling of the assessment was done.
- Present constructive feedback for staff incorporating in high expectations in delivering feedback to continuously develop gradings and SPAG.
- To support continuous CPD of all staff completing training needs analysis. Identify any areas for training and development for the Assessor i.e. updating occupational competence, attending specific training linked with the qualification or Assessor training and the Quality deep dives
- To manage plan and deliver standardisation meetings as required along side the lead IQA and quality
- teams
- Provide the Assessor with ideas for expanding the variety of assessment methods.
- Acknowledge and praise good practice, either for assessment feedback to the apprentice as well as the suitability of evidence presented to meet the learning outcomes and criteria.
- Maintain active support and guidance for Assessors.
- Keep up to date with any industry and curriculum changes.
- Work to plan and lead External Quality Assurer visits.
- To perform any Ad-hoc duties that the Company considers to be reasonable.
- To be mindful of your personal safety and the safety of apprentices and colleagues.
- Attend training courses to further your personal development and knowledge
- Report any safeguarding issues in line with the safeguarding and prevent policies and procedures.
