Initial 6 month contract, with potential for extension.
Open to hybrid working, MAX 3 days in, 2 days out, preferred 4 days in 1 day out.
The primary focus for the role of the Business Development Consultant is to develop new business by generating, following up and closing leads, but also to grow existing client relationships.
Sales:- Classify and coordinate with stakeholders/decision makers for both new & existing customers/partners by telephone, email & social media platforms in order to maximise long-term sales opportunities
- The Business Development Consultant will establish relationships with new clients whilst maintaining and growing your existing client portfolio
- Understanding funding rules and eligibility for Levy and Non-levy paying clients
- Prepare marketing material and personalized proposals to deliver quality presentations according to client requirement, specifications or areas of support needed
Recruitment:
- Advertise acquired client vacancies on all necessary websites within a given SLAs
- Receive and review candidate applications, conduct interviews, assessments and create a shortlist of candidates for the client
- Prepare CVs and candidate profiles and forward shortlist to clients for consideration
- Organise second interviews for candidates and give advice and guidance in preparation for interviews
- Provide IAG and Signposting where needed
- Work towards and exceed recruitment targets that may relate to the number of candidates place
- Become familiar with and review recruitment policies and funding rules to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes
Requirements:
- Experience of employer engagement to levy and non levy clients
- Target and KPI driven
- The abilitiy to develop new buisness, account manage and build long susuitable relationships with a consultative approach
