- Our client are currently recruiting for a specialist Apprenticeship Trainer to join their expanding team. This varied and busy role will see the successful applicant managing delivery of Apprenticeship Standards to a caseload of Apprentices predominantly based in the South of England.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out the initial induction for new Apprentices on-boarding offering initial advice and guidance prior to enrolment.
- Supporting the enrolment of new Apprentices including timely process of enrolment and supporting documents.
- Supporting learners to develop Functional Skills to the level of competence required.
- Guide and ensure learners are ready for End Point Assessment within agreed timeframes.
- Working to specific quality and completion of targets.
- Manage Apprentices learning journey including OTJ requirements and reviews.
- Engage with learner’s employer/ line manager.
- Attending employer meetings to support project management and learner progress.
- Maintain own professional level of expertise and keep up to date with the latest developments in the field; undertaking training and development directly relevant to your professional role as necessary.
- Attend all company CPD events.
- Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33
- Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS or equivalent or be prepared to work towards
- Functional Skills or equivalent in Maths and English at level 2
- Vocational competence within Apprenticeship Standards specified
- Experience with supporting the delivery and testing of functional skills in Maths & English
- Knowledge and experience of using e-portfolios systems(Smart Assessor)
- Train, coach, and assess Apprentice learners in the following specialist subject areas:
- Customer Service Practitioner Level 2
- Customer Service Specialist Level 3
- Passenger Transport Operative Level 2
- Team Leader/ Supervisor Level 2
- Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5
- Senior Leader Level 7
- Business Administrator Level 3
- Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3
- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
- Supply Chain Operator Level 2
- Associate project Manager Level 4
- Professional Coaching Level 5
