- Our client are a training institution incorporated by a team of specific sector experts who meet regularly, plans and execute the need-based training in the sector of Beauty, Health and Social Care, Dental Nursing, Customer services, ICT and Book Keeping. They are currently looking for a proactive and highly driven person to join the team as aLevel 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Trainer.
As our clients Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Trainer you will be responsible for the quality and outcomes arising from teaching, learning, assessment and guidance and support within the company, including full delivery of the Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship, achievement, added value, stretch and challenge, as well as growing and monitoring the service delivery. To ensure that student safety, enjoyment and success is at the heart of planning and delivery. To plan and manage resources in order to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within the company.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a proven Level 3 Apprenticeship training background with experience of working within an advanced apprenticeships or further education setting.
- To plan and deliver course programmes to Learners includes lesson plans and schemes of work using different learning technologies (strategies and methods)
- To complete formative and summative assessments of students' learning, including the marking to a high standard of student work and, where appropriate, examinations
- To assist with the recruitment, selection and admission of students, as required.
- To provide admin duties required to support your role. Including enrolment, certificates, monitoring forms, supporting documents (i.e insurance forms, etc.) and exit assessments
- To provide ongoing IAG to all learners
- To ensure academy is constantly ready for inspection (stock room, walls, theory/practical rooms)
- To ensure standards of health and safety and housekeeping are maintained (including stock cupboard)
- To assist with promotional or marketing activity, as required
- To work flexibly and carry out additional roles within the company as may be agreed from time to time
- Undertake any personal development necessary to ensure effective performance in the role
- Undertake any additional duties that the company may require to move the business forward
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy
- A recognised Assessors Award such as TAQA or CAVA
- A Teaching Qualification at level 3 is highly desirable such as Award in Education and Training, (AET) PTLLS
- Recent and relevant teaching experience, and industry competence
- Experience planning curriculum / courses and delivering to a group of learners
- Team player, Motivated, Excellent Communication skills
- Experience working in a college or with another training provider
- Flexibility in working hours
