- Our client is looking for an Operations and Centre Manager to manage the operational delivery for End Point Assessment across all apprenticeship standards, ensuring the company continues to provide a high quality and cost-effective service to all stakeholders and meets all regulatory responsibilities.
The Operations and Centre Manager will also be responsible for managing the initial accreditation process, and on-going support for, our Awarding Organisation centres, in line with Centre agreements and Centre assessment standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the Operations Team ensuring that company policies and processes are adhered to and remain compliant with Ofqual.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Operations Team ensuring they are trained, developed, provided with structured feedback, and managed in line with processes and procedures.
- Work in partnership with external stakeholders and provide high quality advice, responsive support and expert guidance on all matters relating to the provision of assessments and qualifications.
- Manage EPA delivery costs and invoices.
- Line manage the Operations Team and pool of Assessors, working closely with the wider team to further develop and manage the end-to-end process for EPA.
- Support and work with the wider team to ensure that the company meets its regulatory commitments in the delivery and awarding of end point assessments, qualifications, and accreditations.
- Work with the Head of Operations to embed the company strategy within the operation and participate in senior management function meetings to ensure that objectives and
- growth are achieved.
- Work with the senior team to identify and mitigate risks and conflicts of interest.
- Manage EPA Assessor capacity and lead recruitment, training, and development of new
- Assessors to ensure our client is always able to deliver end-point assessments as and when required.
- In collaboration with the Quality team, ensure the Assessor pool be able to meet all
- operational needs and ensure that assessments are carried out to the high standard
- expected by customers, key stakeholders, and regulators.
Personal Specification:
• Experience within a similar role, including line management of a small team.
• A customer centric approach with the ability to instil this approach in others through coaching.
• An ability to prioritize workloads and work in an agile way is key, you will need to be able to
lead, motivate and inspire the team.
• Experience working within an EPAO and/or awarding organization.
• Strong management and organisational skills proven through experience within senior roles.
• Extensive knowledge of apprenticeship standards, end point
