Description
Main Duties
The post holder will:
  • Have relevant experience and success in similar administration work with strong attention to detail preferably in a Higher Education/University setting with a working knowledge of the OfS, and QAA.
  • Ensure the collection and collation of all paperwork to support the compliance to contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with relevant staff, to maintain information on project outcomes and targets.
  • organise logistics for meetings; including, correspondence, diaries paperwork, taking notes, room bookings, refreshments, and other arrangements as required by the Executive Director.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in taking meeting minutes
  • be comfortable using a variety of electronic systems (e.g Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, VLE etc),
  • Have ability to independently organise activities whilst prioritising a conflicting workload
  • Be able to use own initiative to suggest and implement practical and effective solutions
  • Manual and electronic administrative and filing systems for curriculum areas.

General
  • Work with the other college client services staff to ensure a seamless service.
  • Participate in and promote the Staff Learning & Development Appraisal Scheme.
  • Understand and comply with all college policies including the Policy to promote Equality of Opportunity.
  • Be conversant with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Undertake such duties and/or hours of work as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade and general level of responsibility, at your main place of work or at any other establishment for which the College provides services.
Qualifications
  • Qualified to at least L3 or Equivalent (E)
  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C Must include English and Maths or functional equivalent (E)
Experience
  • Experience of general administrative duties (E)
  • Experience in supervising a team (E)
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office Packages (E)
  • Experience of producing reports, updating data bases and spread sheets (E)
  • Experience of funded projects (D)
