Description

Are you a skilled coach with a passion for hospitality and a drive to elevate apprenticeship standards?

We’re looking for an Apprenticeship Development Quality Assurer to help shape the future of vocational training across London. You’ll play a key role in developing trainers, driving quality, and ensuring learners receive the very best apprenticeship experience.

This role is remote-based with regular travel in London (3–4 days per week). There’s also the option to work from a central London office if you prefer a hybrid set-up.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers

  • Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
  • Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
  • Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
  • Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes

Drive Quality and Compliance

  • Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
  • Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
  • Work closely with managers and internal departments to ensure delivery consistency

Maximise Learning Impact

  • Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
  • Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies

About You

  • Experience in hospitality apprenticeship delivery, vocational training, or quality assurance
  • Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g. Award in Education and Training)
  • Ideally, a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willing to work towards – support will be provided)
  • Based within commutable distance for regular travel in and around London
  • A strong coach and mentor, with a passion for developing others
  • Coaching qualification (desirable)

What’s on Offer

  • Starting salary from £30,000 + tax-free bonuses if company targets are met
  • £3,500 London Weighting if you live in a London Borough
  • Hybrid option: remote with access to a central London office
  • 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Buy/sell up to 5 additional leave days
  • Healthcare cash plan, dental cover & 24/7 GP access
  • Enhanced sick pay and life insurance
  • Mileage and travel expenses reimbursed
