- Description
- 16.9 Hours across 3.5 days - Key Tasks - Plan and deliver lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and interests
- Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding (CPOMS)
- Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
- Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
- Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations
- Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding feedback to inspire learners
- Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
- Facilitate a wide range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year
- Undertake in-house training to remain up to date with awarding body expectations
 - Essential Qualifications - Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area
- Candidates must be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further programme
- Candidates must be new to teaching (i.e., they do not hold a Level 5 or higher teaching qualification and have not previously been in a substantive classroom-based teaching position)
- Candidates must sign up for and complete a relevant Teacher Training Qualification
- Have, or be working towards, a Level 2 qualification in English and maths
- Have a Level 3 qualification, or adequate industry experience, in their subject area

- Outstanding teaching and communication skills and understanding of Ofsted framework
- Solution-focused and able to respond to data trends
- Assertive and confident in learning environment management

- Empathy towards the many challenges faced by young adults in a demographic with high free school meals rate and poverty levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Visual scripting/programming skills
 - Desirable Skills - Experience with Adobe Photoshop/After Effects/Premiere – modelling, concept art/textures
- Experience of working professionally in a relevant creative industry/as an entrepreneur
- Experience with Autodesk Maya/Blender – animating, skinning, rigging, texturing, 3D modelling
- Experience with Unity/Unreal Engine – animation-to-engine pipelines
- Drawing and art skills
