- Description
- Our client is a growing training provider, and we are looking for an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join the apprenticeship delivery team. If you have experience delivering Functional Skills (Maths, English and IT), we want to hear from you!This is a hybrid role, with the majority of delivery remote. Depending on learners and thesituation, there may be a need to occasionally attend a learner’s workplace. This is on a case-by-case basis but will be rare. You may also be required to support other trainers and their learners with remote Functional Skills workshops. This role is varied and gives you some diversity as you will have a small caseload as well as be involved with workshops and exam invigilating/marking (remote).Main duties:
- Managing a small caseload of apprenticeship learners
- Exam invigilating/marking
- Prepare/deliver Functional Skills remote workshops to your own learners as well as other
- trainer’s learners when needed
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and achievement of seeing ALL
- allocated learners within the agreed timescale and in line with ESFA
- Ensuring learners are producing evidence of their knowledge, skills and behaviours in
- line with the apprenticeship standard.
- Provide one or one or group teaching and learning sessions covering core knowledge
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs
- Attending and contributing towards standardisation meetings
Requirements:- Must be qualified Assessors with recognised Assessor award:
- D32/D33, A1, TAQA OR CAVA, OR EPA
- Must possess either a PTTLS/CTTLS or AET/CET or higher certificate
- Experience of delivering full Apprenticeship Standard and Functional Skills
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- IT literate, knowledge of Microsoft packages, online/digital learning and webinar-based
- technologies
- Knowledge and experience of using e-portfolios systems(Smart Assessor)
