- Description
- The Quality Improvement Lead is responsible for driving the quality of the apprentice and employer experience within our Childcare and Digital Marketing divisions. You will ensure the continuous improvement of IAG, delivery, learning evidence, portfolios, learner reviews, portfolios etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Quality and Compliance Director to design, develop, implement and manage the Quality Policies, Quality Plan and Apprenticeship approach for the designated apprenticeship programmes, ensuring it complies with ESFA funding rules.
- Ensure the quality execution of Apprenticeships through monitoring and reviewing the learning content and making improvement.
- Maximise the effective use of ePortfolio ensuring the best possible experience for all parties.
- Conduct Observations of Teaching and Learning in line with the policy, provide feedback to those being observed and report to the Quality and Compliance Director.
- Conduct OTLA’s and Standardisation meetings in line with policies and procedures and provide feedback
- Work closely with Sector/Curriculum Leads to facilitate Performance Management activities that ensure delivery staff are aware of, and supported to achieve, the actions set in improvement plans.
- Drive continuous improvements to the delivery model to reach optimum performance outcomes in terms of completion and EPA achievements.
- Take responsibility for quality assurance of Off-The-Job records ensuring only eligible activity is counted and recorded to enable a clear picture of current progress towards each apprentices training plan.
- Make ongoing improvement to Functional Skills support provided to apprentices.
- Implement delivery practices that achieve high levels of learner and employer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Work with the Quality and Compliance Director to support the development of a Self- Assessment Report, and continuous monitoring through the Quality Improvement Plan.
Essential:
- Experience with the use of ePortfolio systems is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and three-I’s.
- Be able to gather the required evidence to ensure the business is prepared for an Ofsted inspection.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience of managing an apprenticeship programme.
- Sound experience in driving performance whilst delivering key quality indicators across provision.
- Solid knowledge of meeting the requirements of Regulatory Bodies (ESFA, Ofsted, Awarding Bodies, EPAOs, etc) with experience of leading audit and assurance activity.
Desirable:
- Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (CAVA) or equivalent
- Certificate/Diploma in Education & Training (CET/DET), CertEd, PGCE or
- equivalent
