Data and Compliance Officer
We are looking for a Data and Compliance Officer for one of our great clients.
Job Purpose
The role primarily is designed to support all data and compliance elements of government-funded Apprenticeships within the company.
The role will be responsible for compiling enrolment paperwork and submitting accurate data that is compliant to ESFA requirements.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
- Entry of accurate data into Learner management systems
- Identifying issues with, cleaning and reporting on data through FIS, PDSAT, and BI Tools
- Supporting all data and compliance elements of Apprenticeship programmes, including; tracking and chasing paperwork as part of audit requirements, maintaining the workshop attendance log, and submitting monthly funding claims
- Helping to develop appropriate processes and procedures for the effective monitoring and reporting of Apprenticeships
- Staying up to date with government funding data & compliance rules and requirements
- Supporting the Senior Contracts and Operations Manager in compiling accurate management and diversity reports
- Preparing, communication and tracking of enrolment paperwork for new apprenticeship programmes
- Supporting the preparation of paperwork for any audits or Ofsted inspections
- Processing data in line with internal processes for early leavers and apprenticeship completions
- Grow internal awareness and respect for the Academy brand through championing our activity
- Supporting the administration and organisation of Functional skills workshops
Qualifications and skills
- Experience of working in training and education is essential, with knowledge and experience of data and compliance standards within apprenticeships.
- Ability to manage a busy workload effectively and work calmly under pressure
- Champion new projects, sharing success stories and promoting the Academy’s work
- Self-starter with an enterprising outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently
- Organised with great attention to detail
- Highly collaborative, with good inter-personal skills – persuasive, bright and positive
- Can-do attitude.
