Roles and Responsibility
- Working alongside the Regional Business Development manager at Hart L&D, an earner engagement executive – and with our operational teams – you’ll be accountable for a portfolio of client-facing projects, specifically within Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
- You’ll work with our wider team to monitor and report on the longer-term sales pipeline and client relationship positions and assist/maintain the revenue generation across apprenticeships, via Professional Services and our Trades offering at our ECC site (Engineering and Construction Campus).
- Oversee and support all stakeholder related recruitment activity for Apprenticeships, including supporting employers with Job Descriptions, and advertising vacancies of multiple platforms including GetMyFirstJob and Find an Apprenticeship.
- Work closely with the wider Business Development team to update the centralised talent pool database.
- Liaise with stakeholders in relation to the enrolment process of apprentices and adult learners with information, advice, and guidance.
- Liaise with stakeholders to generate skill scans to create job roles and work with the Employer Engagement teams to fulfil these roles.
- Assist with the organisation of open days/evenings to generate potential interest in a career at the Engineering and Constriction Campus (ECC).
- Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time

- You’ll represent the organisation at monthly local, county, and national networking events.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience of selling Government funded training.
- Experience in customer service, admin, recruitment, marketing, or sales.
- Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction.
- Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
- Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies.
- Experience self-motivating to achieve KPIs and targets.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of labour market information.
- Ability to work within a target driven environment.
- A good working knowledge and understanding of the apprenticeship and employability market.
- Experience of working in a client facing sales role within the education and skills sector on a national scale.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communications, interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Strong operational focus.
- Superb organisational skills, time management with clear reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and cloud-based, learner engagement, short listing platforms such as Get My First Job, Apprenticeship Service.
- Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or ability to travel county wide.
