Roles and Responsibility
  1. Working alongside the Regional Business Development manager at Hart L&D, an earner engagement executive – and with our operational teams – you’ll be accountable for a portfolio of client-facing projects, specifically within Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
  2. You’ll work with our wider team to monitor and report on the longer-term sales pipeline and client relationship positions and assist/maintain the revenue generation across apprenticeships, via Professional Services and our Trades offering at our ECC site (Engineering and Construction Campus).
  3. Oversee and support all stakeholder related recruitment activity for Apprenticeships, including supporting employers with Job Descriptions, and advertising vacancies of multiple platforms including GetMyFirstJob and Find an Apprenticeship.
  4. Work closely with the wider Business Development team to update the centralised talent pool database.
  5. Liaise with stakeholders in relation to the enrolment process of apprentices and adult learners with information, advice, and guidance.
  6. Liaise with stakeholders to generate skill scans to create job roles and work with the Employer Engagement teams to fulfil these roles.
  7. Assist with the organisation of open days/evenings to generate potential interest in a career at the Engineering and Constriction Campus (ECC).
  8. Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time
  9. It is essential that you have a commitment to behave in a way that meets our organisations values and that places the learner and their wellbeing at the heart of what we do.
  10. You’ll represent the organisation at monthly local, county, and national networking events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
  1. Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience of selling Government funded training.
  2. Experience in customer service, admin, recruitment, marketing, or sales.
  3. Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction.
  4. Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
  5. Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies.
  6. Experience self-motivating to achieve KPIs and targets.
  7. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people.
  8. Effective negotiation skills.
  9. Knowledge of labour market information.
  10. Ability to work within a target driven environment.
  11. A good working knowledge and understanding of the apprenticeship and employability market.
  12. Experience of working in a client facing sales role within the education and skills sector on a national scale.
  13. Strong stakeholder engagement and communications, interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
  14. Strong operational focus.
  15. Superb organisational skills, time management with clear reporting.
  16. Familiarity with CRM systems and cloud-based, learner engagement, short listing platforms such as Get My First Job, Apprenticeship Service.
  17. Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or ability to travel county wide.
