- Description
- The role of the Commercial Associate Trainer is to support the delivery of the commercial CPD courses to quality, time and high customer satisfaction. The Trainer will support the Vice Principal Growth, Innovation and Employer Engagement to deliver the agreed targets of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparation and delivery of courses that meet Professional Body (where applicable) standards for teaching and learning and assessment
- Development and production of course materials for learning activities to ensure delegates are appropriately engaged, supported and able to achieve success.
- Delivery of high achievement and customer satisfaction rates
- Lead on and champion Health and Safety at your campus base, in conjunction with the Head of Safety and Wellbeing.
- Monitor and evaluate delegates, offering targeted support where needed.
- Deliver and assess delegates work against the criteria stated by the Awarding Body.
- Review teaching strategies and lesson plans in view of the outcomes produced by the delegates and amend as necessary.
- Work with the Head of Employer Engagement and Skills Manager concerning any support needed for delegates and to ensure effective communication exists between the company and delegates
- Create and maintain relevant course and delegates documentation and produce effective, efficient and well organised records and reports to assist the Employer Engagement and Skills Manager
- Monitor and track the progress of delegates, accessing relevant support systems and other staff expertise as needed.
- Maintain discipline and Health and Safety requirements in all areas of the centre, ensuring the safety of all delegates at all times
- A degree or alternative professional qualification in a subject relevant to the area you will be teaching.
- A recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above) (PGCE, CertEd, DET/DTLLS)
- Proven successful experience of delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Practical specific experience of work within industry sector role
- Knowledge of developments within the FE sector
- Proven experience of implementing quality assurance/improvement processes
- Experience of planning and supporting learning on study programmes and for apprentices
- Proven ability to develop good classroom practice.
- Ability to analyse information and data to inform decision making.
- Proven effective communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to use a range of IT applications and promote use of ILT in teaching and learning
- Evidence of a learner-centred approach throughout all aspects of the role.
- Ability to work as an effective team member
