- Job Overview:
The purpose of this role is to attract candidates onto apprenticeship / traineeship programmes against recruitment targets. You must have a strong resource experience and good knowledge of apprenticeships and traineeships
- To interview potential candidates by telephone and face to face to determine their eligibility and suitability for the relevant Traineeship and apprenticeship opportunity
- To ensure that selected applicants without a link to an employer are prepared for employment with high-quality CVs and Employability Skills.
- To support activity towards candidate and employer engagement, as required.
- Active caseload management with Recruitment Executives within the business to ease the transition from applicant to apprentice of every candidate accepted.
- Delivery of Employability sessions within both Traineeship and Apprenticeship programmes.
- To ensure the apprentice recruitment process is followed
- To deliver Outstanding Information, Advice and Guidance to both internal and external customers and to meet this grade in Observations.
- Managing relationships with key suppliers, referral partners and organisations locally to generate the maximum number of candidate referrals wherever possible
- To assist in the development of the company and programme marketing materials and methods of engagement
- To perform any Ad-hoc duties that the Company considers to be reasonable
Personal Specification:
- proven business development abilities and experience of working in a target-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and traineeships
- Experience of presenting at various levels, particularly to young people
- Proven networking skills
- Experience of working in sales or student recruitment teams
- Recruitment or sales background
- Knowledge of the FE industry
- Understanding of funding and registration for Apprenticeships
- Experience of working with education partners
- Experience of working with young people and offering advice and guidance
- Experience and knowledge of interviewing
