- Description
- The Apprenticeship Growth Manager will take ownership of growth of the apprenticeship numbers through self-generated activity, new business enquiries and external marketing and promotion. Managing the relationship with employers at a strategic level, the postholder will work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and deliver the business growth plan to ensure the ongoing sustainability, growth and success of the Education apprenticeship programme.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for the achievement of strong performance KPIs, designed to deliver sustained growth of apprenticeship numbers
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the policies underpinning the development of apprenticeships nationally and the processes required to comply with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules for apprenticeship delivery
- Advising employers on all elements of the apprenticeship programme including the suitability of learners for each standard, development of apprenticeship strategies and use of the Levy and Levy transfer
- Supporting employers with the setting up of Levy transfers, DAS accounts and the claiming of employer incentives
- To manage the employer elements of the enrolment, collating learner information and ensuring timely enrolment through liaison with the Delivery Manager
- Developing marketing and social media campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing Team, ensuring that target audiences are identified and the return on investment is measured, adapting the approach accordingly
- Promoting and managing the recruitment process for new learners, advising, and supporting both the learner and employer to ensure ‘right learner, right programme’ to ensure programme success rates are maintained
- Attending presentations and network events across the delivery area to raise profile
- Organising and driving Masterclass events
- Ensuring effective communication with other Managers to ensure items of concern are raised in a timely manner
- To support the organisation in the delivery of all activities and programmes ensuring we meet and/or exceed contract requirements. Ensure that all the delivery teams maintain focus on performance, quality and compliance in all aspects of their work.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- You have between two and five years of experience working in a B2B sales environment, ideally in apprenticeships.
- Prepared to work across all the Apprenticeship programmes communicating in person, on video calls and on the phone.
- You are passionate about helping young people start their careers at amazing companies and this inspires you to drive the demand side of the marketplace.
- You are not afraid to walk away from potential business if the opportunity doesn’t meet our quality threshold.

- You are flexible and understand the balance between being commercial and being compassionate.
- An apprenticeship expert with previous working history in provider business development or sales
- High standard of Education
