Description

Our Client:
 
Our client is looking for someone who can provide an outstanding classroom and/or live online experience to their AAT levels 2-4 students, you’ll inspire them to succeed and achieve excellent learning and assessment outcomes. You’ll continuously build your knowledge, skills and capabilities, as well as contributing to building those of your colleagues, and you’ll also help to continuously improve what we deliver to our customers, and how it is delivered.
If you do also hold a ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, etc qualification then a full time position can be considered and you will also support some of the learners on the higher courses. Please ensure you disclose which contract type you would like to speak about.
 
Main duties:

  • As the AAT Tutor you will be training learners on the level 2,3 and 4 AAT courses and ensuring their progression through the class
  • The AAT Tutor will create, monitor and adapt individual learning plans for each learner in your cohort
  • Plan and deliver individualised sessions to support the learner in developing the appropriate
  • Skills Knowledge and Behaviour relating to Accountancy
  • The AAT Tutor will plan and monitor learners’ Off The Job Training (OTJT) requirements, based on their programme of learning
  • Complete in-depth course reviews with learners every 8 weeks which are compliant with EFSA regulations
  • The AAT Tutor will prepare for and attend monthly caseload review meetings with Internal Quality Assurer
  • Prepare for and attend monthly tutor standardisation meetings at Head Office

 
You won’t need prior teaching experience because our clients Tutor Academy will help you become an inspirational educator, but you will need to bring:

  • Relevant professional accounting qualification (exam-qualified suffices for some
  • qualifications)
  • Ability to communicate and present with confidence, clarity and purpose
  • Focus on quality and student outcomes
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively
  • Excellent written skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and trust

Requirements:

  • Must be qualified in and able to deliver AAT qualifications up to Level 3
  • TAQA / CAVA or equivalent assessing work-based learning qualification (desirable)
  • PTLLS or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, Etc (desirable – if you have one of these qualifications alongside AAT then you will be considered for a full time contract)
