- Description
Our client is looking for a Development Coach who will deliver a high-quality curriculum & learning journey to both the learner and employer, ensuring an outstanding training experience is met that develops the learner’s skills, knowledge, behaviour. They must promote the company in addition to meeting company policies and procedures, Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rules, Ofsted Common Inspection Framework, Awarding Organisation standards and any other compliancy requirements.
- Build and manage a caseload of learners across various sites.
- Support the development of learners Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in line with the assessment plan.
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years up to level 5.
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English up to level 2.
- To regularly oversee each of your learners development on a weekly basis and escalating any learner concerns to a team leader.
- To pre-plan and confirm that teaching sessions and observation visits are planned in advance, agreed with both the learner and employer.
- To research and be aware of the Awarding Organisations delivery specification and any ongoing changes within the industry. Implementing any feedback from our Internal Quality Assurance team to maintain the company’s direct claim status.
- To familiarise yourself with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Being responsible and accountable for the delivery of a positive learning journey to all your assigned learners, by supporting, stimulating and encouraging the learner to excel whilst on their apprenticeship programme.
- Maintaining sufficient car and home insurance covering business use is the responsibility of the tutor.
- Demonstrating commitment to equality of opportunity and any other anti-discriminatory practice.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / contact, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Being accountable for your learner portfolios, ensuring they are compliant and meet the Education and Skill Funding Agency rules at all times. Making sure that their learner portfolios are; available to present at an ESFA audit, achieving a 0% error rating, able to achieve an ‘Good/Outstanding’ outcome within an Ofsted Inspection and able to maintain direct claim status at an Awarding Organisation visit or any other inspection/audit.
- To be accountable and take ownership of your home-based workstation and that it adheres to the company’s health and safety policy.
- Ensuring secrecy of sensitive information in line with the General Data Protection Regulations as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- To establish, maintain and build a positive relationship with both the learner and employer in line with our communications policy and impacts on the regeneration of existing and new business.
- To be fully prepared and responsible for each learner at your monthly audit compliance meeting with your training manager or sector head.
- To attend virtual or physical meetings as required, along with compulsory team and standardisation meetings.
- To have full knowledge of the company’s Self-Assessment Review and Quality Improvement Plan. Achieving set SMART targets and Key Performance Indicators for a positive and measured impact on the quality of teaching, learning and assessment delivery that meets an Ofsted ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ grade.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
- To assess learners’ work in a prompt, proficient manner (within 5 working days max) and provide positive feedback that meets the level of the qualification being undertaken.
- To be fully aware and up to date on all legislation relating to yourself and all concerns that includes; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, British Values, Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety.
