Description
Our client is looking for an Electrical Assessor who will ensure that their electricians have the skills, knowledge and certifications needed to succeed in their profession. You'll oversee induction and assessment programs, manage candidate registration, and maintain up to date AM2 documentation and resources.
You'll also play a critical role in managing and marking AM2 End Point Assessments. Building positive relationships with apprentices, inspection bodies, employers, and external contacts will be crucial to your success, and you may even have the opportunity to deliver commercial electrical training courses.
 
To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Installing and Commissioning Electrical Systems & Equipment
  • City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 certificates.
  • A relevant qualification in the current edition of the BS 7671 IET Requirements for Electrical Installations
  • Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-2394/5 or equivalent).
  • Post-qualification or apprenticeship experience in an electrical services organisation
  • An Assessor qualification (D32, D33, A1, or TAQA),
  • Good IT skills
  •  JIB Registered/Card (Approved or Electrician grade) status, are also essential.
  • Familiarity with all AM2 Assessment resources and requirements would be beneficial, as would a Certificate in Education, a recognized Health and Safety qualification, and Internal Verifier qualifications (D34 or V1).
