- Our client is looking for a Quality and Curriculum Manager, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational strategy and ensuring the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning experiences for learners. You will provide leadership and support to the academic team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the education and learning team, setting strategic goals and direction to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.
- Oversee the design, development, and review of curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and meets the needs of our students.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to monitor and improve teaching and learning, including regular assessments, feedback mechanisms, and observations.
- Mentor and develop educators and support staff, promoting a culture of professional growth, and ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
- Foster a student-centric approach, enhancing student engagement and satisfaction through innovative teaching methods and student support services.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, staying up-to-date with changes in the education sector.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including industry partners, employers, and government bodies, to enhance the educational offerings and opportunities for our students.
- Utilise data and analytics to drive decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and track key performance indicators.
- Line manage a team effectively, implementing swift interventions to drive-up performance.
- Carry-out one to one staff performance reviews/supervisions.
- Work in collaboration with operational staff to prevent early withdrawals.
- Maximise overall and timely qualification achievement rates.
- Monitor and oversee internal quality assurance procedures.
- Monitor and oversee the standardisation and development of the curriculum, including teaching resources.
- To comply with the company’s safeguarding policy, Equality & Diversity policy and associated procedures.
- To comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and company confidentiality procedure.

- To plan and prioritise own workload to ensure positive outcomes and work to a consistently high standard.
- To comply with all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
- To participate in sales and PR events and to promote a positive company image, being able to respond to business opportunities.
- To ensure administrative procedures are always followed.
- To attend and participate in meetings and to produce reports as requested.
- To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.
Personal Specification:
- A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (DTLLS, L5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent
- A recognised Level 5 management qualification
- Relevant vocational expertise
- Experience working within the post 16 education sector.
- Experience of Ofsted regulations and inspections
