- Our client is looking for a Hospitality Independent Assessor to join their team to maintain the success of End-Point Assessment.
About the role:
Everyday duties will include:
- Delivering outstanding assessment services to assigned apprentices and employers.
- Managing your diary to make sure that all pre-assessment meetings, activities, and reports are completed in line with agreed timescales and to the correct standard.
- Ensuring all apprentices and employers have the correct information regarding their end-point assessment requirements.
- Completing and maintaining all assessment and regulatory information, ensuring that all systems are up to date.
- Presenting assessment work for internal quality assurance checks to agreed timescales and completing all action points within deadlines provided by the internal quality assurance team.
- Liaising regularly with the end-point assessment administration team, end-point assessment team and quality team to ensure calendars are fully booked.
- Taking part in activities to support your continuous professional development.
- Adhering to policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and declaring any conflicts of interest.
Personal Specification:
We’re looking for an accomplished Independent Assessor with experience in remotely assessing apprentices in line with the end-point assessment requirements.
You’ll be a subject matter expert in Hospitality ideally with a FOH and BOH background and have the following qualifications:
- Assessment qualifications (can consist of D32/D33 or A1 or TAQA at level 3)
- Ideally, hold Quality assurance qualifications (can include D34 or V1 or TAQA at level 4)
- Ideally, hold a Training and Development qualification (can include PGCE, TDLB, ITT qualifications PTTLs/AET; CTTLS/CET; DTTLS; DET)
