- JOB PURPOSE:
Our client is looking for a Business Development executive to be responsible for the growth of the department by building new relationships with employers, engaging and enrolling learners onto a range of adult programmes and ensuring learners receive the best possible to start to their journey.
You will have a natural flare and passion to build relationships not just through selling opportunities but also building longevity in your partnerships.
You will be given the autonomy to develop new business, share new ideas and look at new and innovative ways to create opportunities.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven track record of engagement with unemployed people.
- A career history of building opportunities for those on adult education programmes.
- Able to interact with potential learners using various methods, including, face to face meetings and events, social media, and over the telephone.
- Target driven and passionate about results, with a proven track record of exceeding learner engagement targets.
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with third sector organisations and other referral partners to identify participants who could benefit from programmes, across a range of regions.
Build relationships with employers to offer suitable opportunities for learners
Consistently achieve individual and team learner start targets and KPI’s through high standards of performance in-line with business expectations.
Develop and implement strategies to target potential learners and promote our offer to them.
Identify individual client motivators to ensure high numbers of enrolments and use motivational, barrier removal and action planning techniques to manage the progression of clients onto programmes and then onto sustainable employment.
