Based – Stevenage
£18,000 - £20,000 per annum + commission
We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive for one of our amazing clients, a leading Apprenticeship provider. This person will join their growing and established team.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales business within the UK. You will also be required to manage existing relationships and identify growth opportunities.
As a result, you ideally have demonstrable experience in identification, networking, prospecting, cold calling, presenting proposals and successfully closing within the apprenticeship sector, however we accept that the right person may have a different background.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote the benefits of Apprenticeships to employers within your territory.
- Attend career events to promote the company and register interest.
- Attend industry events to promote the company and research developments.
- Understand and promote all courses run by the company
- Record all sales activity onto our CRM and provide regular reports to line manager
- Achieve and exceed sales targets where possible
- Continuously research for new business opportunities
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and funding is always up to date.

- Previous Sales experience
- The ability to manage your own workload

- The ability to present solutions to clients in formal and informal environments

- Creative thinker with an open mind
