Our client is looking for a Performance Manager who will lead a team of data analysts and develop a suite of dashboards providing analysis and insights on the operational performance for colleagues across all levels of the business. You will be responsible for producing evidence-based analysis for the core business KPIs, identifying trends and supporting quality improvement work.
Your key responsibilities will include providing high quality performance and trend analysis across all aspect of delivery and quality improvement, analysing and interpreting MI to help drive improvement. You will have the skills to accurately interpret stakeholder requirements utilising Power BI and expertise knowledge of apprenticeship MIS/e-Portfolio systems and present data in a clear and compelling way to enable evidence-based decision making.
You will be required to monitor operational performance against core KPIs and the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework, using hierarchical reporting to highlight areas for improvement and best practice and the impact of specific action plans or changes implemented across delivery.
In addition, you will produce and maintain a robust and adaptive forecasting model with various scenarios to inform short and long-term strategic plans. This requires working closely with the technology team to ensure the movement of data across systems is efficient and accurate.
You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of ESFA Funding Rules, ILR Specification, Awarding Organisation and Ofsted data requirements.
Qualifications and experience:
- Level 5 or above qualification in data analytics or equivalent by experience
- Line management experience in a remote/matrix structure
- Management of large complex data sets and creation of performance information
- Recent experience in creation of Power BI dashboards and appropriate MI for various audiences
- Excellent working knowledge of PICSWeb and other Advanced Education products
- Experience of forecasting and scenario modelling regionally and nationally
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and presentational) to share data in an accessible way
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant FE regulatory authorities and their requirements
- Experience of delivering analysis and MI to support and drive large-scale change programmes
- Experience of building positive working relationships with external bodies and professional networks
