- Description
Working within the Delivery department, reporting to the Head of Delivery. You will be coaching a
cohort of Apprentices working within Football clubs community arms, Trusts or Foundations who are undertaking Sports and Coaching Apprenticeships:
- Sports Coach Level 4 (Optional Routes; Community, Elite, Education)
- Community Sport and Health OÆcer Level 3
- Community Activator Coach Level 2.
Essential Job Functions
- Planning, scheduling and preparing group and individual sessions
- Teaching, facilitating workshops and group activities
- Coaching individuals in a 1-2-1 environment surrounding their skills and behaviors
- Conducting quarterly reviews with learners and their employers
- Continually developing and improving the learning resources
- Coordinating support for learners with SEN
- Providing feedback on submissions of work
- Preparing Apprentices for End-Point Assessments
- Client engagement, to tailor learning, problem solve and promote the offer
- Networking with existing and potential clients to recruit new and progress current Apprentices
- Ensuring compliance, safeguarding and policies are upheld at all times.
- Experience in sports coaching
- Experience in coaching Individuals
- A passion to develop others
- Great communication skills
- Driving License
- ICT confidence, across the Microsoft Suite.
- Experience in community-based sports or active environments
- Experience working in, or with football clubs
- Active listening skills combined with empathy and emotional intelligence
- Adaptability and flexibility combined with creativity
- Good time management and a positive attitude
- Learning & Development and/or Coaching & Mentoring experience or qualifications
- Teaching and/or assessment experience or qualifications
- Experience working with SEN
- Experience working with ICT, Learner Management Systems and curriculum development tools.

- Salary: £32,000 - £40,000
