Head of MIS and Compliance
Based London
We are currently looking for an individual to take on a role of “Head of MIS and Compliance”. This role is based in London and ensures a great competitive salary. The candidate will ensure that the organisation is able to deliver an efficient and positive experience for all learners and that relevant procedures meet all requirements and comply with the relevant funding/audit rules.
Responsibilites- Ensuring that out client meets all compliance requirements including ESFA funding rules and other legislation.
- Advising staff on compliance and funding related matters.
- Line management of the Senior MIS/Compliance Officer and Apprenticeship Advisor
- Liaison with ESFA personnel including audit and Relationship Manager staff.
- The candidate is responsible for responding to all requests for information.
- Supporting staff on MIS and Compliance issues and sharing advice.
- Developing and managing compliance systems to meet requirements and performing internal audits to test the effectiveness of these systems.
- Preparing and taking the lead on external audits from the ESFA and Ofsted.
- Adapt and develop internal systems to address any industry changes.
- Ensuring accurate ILR submissions are made on time.
- Co-ordinating the enrolment of all learners on to the MIS.
- The candidate is responsible for maintaining data integrity & quality through the use of various systems such as FIS, PDSAT and the FRMs to clean data.
- It is important for the candidate to stay up to date on the latest funding rules and data requirements.
- Producing all KPI reports for teams and managers
- Producing data for Governance Board and Executive Leadership Team meetings.
- Having ownership and management of all the organisations IT systems which includes Onefile and PICS and to provide support and guidance for colleagues whilst using these.
- Leading on PICS integration with other systems including OneFile and CRMs.
- Taking ownership of organisational procedures that relate to department, which includes ensuring that things are regularly reviwed and updated when necassary.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Management Level 3 (minimum)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- The candidate must have some significant proven experience as a MIS manager and a compliance manager in Levy apprenticeships including ILR submissions and audit experience.
- OFSTED experience is desirable.
- Extensive experience using Learner Management Systems.
- Experience of E-portfolio systems is useful.
- The ability to analyse data and then draw conclusions from this.
- Strong knowledge of the ESFA Funding rules whilst also having the ability to quickly learn updates and changes.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and keeping records well.
- The ability to meet targets and work to deadlines is important for this candidate.
- Experience of delivering staff training.
- Excellent ICT skills.
