About Our Client:

Our client for 9 years, have been committed to delivering innovative, engaging and fun apprenticeship programmes. As a Grade 2 “Good” Ofsted provider, with 98%+ of employers rating them as Good or Excellent. Our client have supported over 500 learners through End Point Assessment, which provides their Skills Coaches with huge job satisfaction.

The Role:

  • Supporting individual learners through an active programme of skills coaching.
  • Directing, assessing and evaluating skills growth & personal growth.
  • Coaching learners on a 1-2-1 basis, in study groups, through webinars and digital classroom sessions.
  • Administrating individual learning plans including portfolio preparation, off the job hours collation, assessment, feedback and grading.
  • Preparing learners for their End Point Assessment.
  • Advising learners about other programmes at completion of their apprenticeship.

*there is no teaching of the skills workshops in the model, this is delivered by the training team.

 

They operate differently to other providers. Their Skills Coaches, support and embed the learning after each workshop. Their team of experienced trainers deliver the skills in the workshops and the two teams work together to deliver the standards in an innovative and engaging way.

The Skills Coaches are home based delivering the vast majority of their sessions live online.  Most sessions are group sessions, and have a dedicated team that deliver Functional Skills.

Working with a variety of really exciting clients across public and private sectors, from large to small employers, their ambition is to be the first choice and leading provider in leadership & management training.

All programmes are fully developed; you will be provided with the learning and support materials to be successful in the role. They expect you to play your role in developing and improving these resources during annual curriculum review/deep dives.

 

Person Specification:

  • A knowledge and understanding of the transport sector specially in rail
  • Flexible to meet employer/learner needs
  • To be organised, and therefore prepared for all learner interventions, work to specific priority deadlines
  • Learner focussed – they are your priority – with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own remotely (most of the time) but contribute to team/organisational improvements
