Job Purpose
This role provides the opportunity to work in an ambitious company with responsibility for the operations and quality of the provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of quality assurance activities. As well as being responsible for leading a team of Tutors to exceed company performance targets. The post holder will have experience with working through Ofsted. Furthermore, the post holder will also contribute to the development of strategies to meet agreed company objectives and will also support stakeholders in understanding key quality processes and documentation to enable them to consistently meet the required regulatory standards. This is an exciting role, operating in a small team with significant potential for progression for the right candidate as the organisation progresses.
The post-holder will need to have a proven track record of leadership and management within the education sector, with the ability to develop and lead across departmental teams, influence others and introduce introducing innovative solutions to meet challenges.
Working closely with the wider team, you will ensure their continuous drive to achieve the departments objectives, targets and continuous improvement plans, which align to the wider Strategic Plan of the company.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage delivery staff performance, development and training
- Work closely with departmental managers to provide an exceptional experience for the learners and employers
- Ensure timely and accurate evidence is collected to meet ESFA funding rules
- Work closely with Quality to ensure the programmes are outstanding and meet Ofsted requirements
- Support the integration of the new e-portfolio system, provide advice and guidance on best practice
- Ensure learner outcomes are strong by owning the learner journey and EPA processes
- Support the functional skills team to ensure completion of maths and English
- Manage company KPIs in relation to caseloads, learner voice, complaints, learners passed planned end date and EPA
- Manage the office premises and liaise with external contractors as required
- Safeguard the welfare of learners by following the company safeguarding processes
- Comply with GPDR regulations
- Ensure equality of opportunity for learners, employers and staff
- Ensure all learners receive the highest quality experience across their learner journey and in line with company expectations and external requirements.
- Plan the learners’ intent within the ILP and ensure robust IAG starts the learner journey.
- Implement teaching and facilitate learning, adhering not only to the standards of the apprenticeship programme but the wider skills beyond it.
- Operate within the delivery framework to maintain operational consistency and ensure learner and quality progress.
- Ensure all your professional practice records are up to date to ensure reporting to management is accurate.
- Deliver KPI’s in line with our expectations.
