Active Leisure Trainer/Assessor (Personal Trainer)
About the role
We’re currently looking to recruit an experienced Personal Trainer to join our clients Training Division as an Active Leisure Trainer/Assessor. This is a great opportunity to work with a trusted organisation across the training and apprenticeships market being one of the UK’s biggest training providers.
Our client works in a number of different industy’s including Automotive, Active Leisure, Hospitality, Retail and Health and Social Care.
As an Active Leisure Trainer/Assessor you will use your experience within Personal Training and Leisure, to train and support learners who are on an Apprenticeship Programme for either Level 2 in Fitness Instructing or Level 3 in Personal Training.
You will be required to visit the learners once a month and deliver teaching, learning and assessment towards their Apprenticeship. You will maintain documentation within the e-portfolio system, identify and engage with potential employers and learners and build on existing client relationships.
Requirements:
You’ll need to be a Level 3 Personal Trainer with ideally some supervisory experience. You must also be willing to travel across the North and Mid Wales region.
We would also like you to have the following:- GCSE A-C in Maths & English or equivalent
- Excellent organisational skills and a professional demeanour
- Have a valid driving licence and your own car, with a willingness to travel within the region
- A keen interest in supporting people through their Apprenticeship.
