Description

Our client is looking for a Client Development Executive to join their growing team (London, Peterborough or Manchester) As they continue to expand, this role is central to driving growth across apprenticeships and Learning & Development (L&D). You’ll be at the forefront of building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and delivering results that support the mission to transform skills and careers through learning.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business opportunities, targeting organisations across diverse sectors.
  • Grow existing client accounts, expanding into new apprenticeship standards and L&D solutions.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with senior leaders and Heads of L&D.
  • Represent the organisation at events, conferences, and client meetings (in-person and virtual).
  • Deliver compelling pitches and proposals that win business.
  • Forecast and report with accuracy, ensuring consistent pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and deliver world-class client presentations.

 

What You Bring

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within L&D, apprenticeships, or professional services.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with experience winning and growing key accounts.
  • Confidence in pitching and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to spot opportunities and design tailored solutions.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset – balancing long-term growth with short-term wins.
  • A collaborative, relationship-focused approach with strong influencing skills.
