- Description
The Deputy Head of Programmes will play a key role in both hands-on delivery and curriculum development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality programmes in schools and colleges, while also contributing to the design of new educational content and digital learning experiences.
Programme Delivery
- Deliver approximately 50 one-day programmes each year across the Midlands and North, maintaining the highest standards of quality and engagement.
- Represent at schools, partner meetings, and industry events, promoting our mission and programmes.
Curriculum and Digital Development
- Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of our enterprise, careers, and employability curricula (both in-person and online).
- Collaborate on the creation of engaging digital learning assets and resources for the Lightbulb platform.
- Contribute to the generation of new content ideas, delivery approaches, and creative resources.
Quality and Innovation
- Contribute to quality assurance, evaluation, and ongoing improvement processes.
- Provide input into strategic decisions relating to programme innovation and pedagogy.
- Foster positive relationships with schools, partners, and employers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat engagement.
Operations and Logistics
- Plan and prepare for programme delivery, ensuring that resources and logistics are managed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery, feedback, and impact data to support evaluation and improvement.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified teacher, trainer, or education professional (or equivalent) with a minimum of three years’ experience.
- Proven experience in curriculum or content development, with a keen interest in digital and blended learning.
- Confident and engaging presenter, capable of delivering to both young people and professional audiences.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to travel regularly.
- Passionate about supporting young people in developing enterprise, employability, and life skills.
- Sound understanding of the UK education system.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Resides within commuting distance of Stafford (office-based role).
