Location: Hybrid (Worcester)
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
Contract: Full-time - 37.5 hoursAbout the role:
Our client is looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Curriculum Designer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design innovative, high-impact learning programmes that make a real difference to learners and employers across the UK.
The Curriculum Designer will work alongside Service Delivery, Marketing, and Account Management teams to create engaging apprenticeship, Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), and commercial training programmes that meet industry needs and drive workforce development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- As the Curriculum Designer you will design and develop engaging curricula for Levels 2–5 apprenticeships, HTQs, and commercial programmes
- Create high-quality, interactive eLearning and face-to-face content
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to build innovative learning experiences
- Research emerging topics to produce cutting-edge, industry-relevant content
- Ensure programmes meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements
- Develop programme guides, resources, and supporting documentation
- Work with awarding bodies and EPAOs to ensure quality and compliance
- Continuously improve learning content using digital tools and immersive technologies
- Embed Personal Development, Behaviour & Attitudes, and Off-the-Job Hours into programmes

Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience designing apprenticeship or vocational curricula
- Strong content creation skills for training, apprenticeships, or higher-level qualifications
- Knowledge of the FE & Skills sector
- Experience delivering training (minimum Level 4 teaching/training qualification)
- Strong digital and eLearning development skills
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with AI and technology-driven learning solutions
Desirable:
- Instructional design qualification or experience
- TAQA/Internal Verifier qualification
- Experience with VR/AR learning platforms
- Experience in construction or facilities training content
- Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft 365, Articulate, Adobe Suite, Synthesia, LMS platforms
