Salary: £39,100 + Commission
Location: Remote (Ideally based in the West Yorkshire area)
Full driving licence and own vehicle is essential
Employer Engagement Manager:
Our client is a dynamic and growing Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Lincolnshire and Humberside. They specialise in delivering high-quality Level 3 & 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education programmes, and commercial upskilling courses to more than 300 client companies across the UK.
Working in partnership with leading engineering and manufacturing employers, our client is committed to advancing engineering skills locally, regionally, and nationally.
As part of continued growth, our client is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Employer Engagement Manager to help expand employer partnerships and promote their industry-leading training solutions.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to play a key role in driving commercial growth and strengthening relationships with engineering and manufacturing employers.
As the Employer Engagement Manager you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key employer accounts, and developing engineering training solutions across West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new employer partnerships within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
- Generate new engineering training opportunities.
- Deliver tailored proposals and presentations showcasing our client’s training solutions.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing employer accounts.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling training services.
- Conduct regular client review meetings to understand workforce development needs.
Commercial Training & Apprenticeships
- Promote our client’s full range of commercial and apprenticeship programmes.
- Develop bespoke training packages for employers.
- Support the development and management of national training contracts.
Employer Engagement
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
- Support targeted employer outreach campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with internal Sales, Marketing, and Training teams.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all activity within the CRM system.
- Track pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Provide regular reports on business development activity and account performance.

Experience within engineering, manufacturing, apprenticeships, or training would be highly advantageous.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
- Experience using the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, email, and telephone communication.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve challenging targets.
- Flexible approach with the ability to respond positively to change.
- Willingness to work flexible hours where required.
- Commitment to health & safety and equality of opportunity within a diverse workplace.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites and employer locations.
- Ability to work to quality standards.
- Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration.
- Previous sales experience within an educational or training environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and/or PICS software.
- Experience supporting or managing external events.
