An established and highly respected Awarding Organisation is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Director to lead its next phase of growth across London and the South East.

With a strong product portfolio, an excellent reputation across the sector, and a clear growth strategy, this organisation is looking for a hands-on sales leader who can build market presence, develop strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

The Opportunity:

The Sales Director is a pivotal role offering the chance to make a significant impact on the organisation's future. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, opening doors with key stakeholders, building long-term strategic relationships, and leading commercial activity across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth across London and the South East.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key sector stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Provide commercial insight to help shape future products, services, and market strategy.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support continued organisational growth.

About You:

  • Proven track record in business development, sales leadership, or commercial growth.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience opening new markets and generating sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to winning business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the education, skills, training, or awarding organisation sector would be advantageous.
