Job Title: Project Management Tutor
Location: Worcester (On-site 3 days per week)
Salary: £43,000About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Project Management Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to adult learners. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with industry expertise and teaching experience who is committed to helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful careers in project management.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging classroom and blended learning sessions, support learners throughout their programme, monitor progress and ensure positive learner outcomes in line with awarding body and funding requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Project Management training to adult learners.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs.
- Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate assessment and learner records.
- Monitor attendance, progress, and achievement.
- Implement learner support interventions when needed.
- Prepare learners for qualifications, employment, or further study.
- Provide an excellent learner experience from induction to completion.
- Deliver high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG).
- Identify and support learners requiring additional learning support.
- Encourage learner engagement, motivation, and confidence.
- Help learners achieve personal and career goals.
- Maintain compliance with funding and awarding body requirements.
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent, EDI, British Values, and data protection.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance activities.
- Use learner feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of Project Management programmes.
- Keep learning materials current and aligned with industry best practice.
- Integrate employability skills and real workplace examples into teaching.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project management and industry developments.
- Attend team meetings, training, and standardisation sessions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Hold a degree in Project Management (or a related subject).
- Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience delivering Project Management training to adult learners.
- Demonstrate industry experience and knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, organisation, and IT skills.
- Achieve high learner attendance, retention, achievement, and satisfaction.
- Meet additional requirements, including on-site working (3 days/week in Worcester), right to work in the UK, Enhanced DBS, and ongoing CPD.
