MIS DATA CO-ORDINATOR
(Office-based: London)
We are looking for an “MIS Data Co-ordinator” for one of our great clients.
This role manages the Individual Learner Record (ILR) data and monthly data submission to the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and undertakes reconciliation of earnings to ensure the correct amounts are received.
Core duties and responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to:- Management of all ILR (Individual Learning Record) data on the MIS platform, Tracker, to ensure all data is accurate and audit compliant
- Submitting the ILR return to the ESFA monthly, resolving any errors, warnings and data match issues that could result in payments not being received
- Reconcile the money received from the ESFA and Prime providers to ensure it matches what is expected. Investigate, resolve or challenge any discrepancies
- Provide the finance department with insights into money due to / from employers for co-investments and incentive payments
- Use PDSAT, FIS, FRM (FAM) and other systems / reports to ensure ILR data audit compliance is within <5% discrepancy
- Provide the organisation with all management information, insight and reporting data as requested in an accurate, timely and clear manner, example reports include, income forecasting, qualification achievement rates (QAR), and apprentice progress.
- Produce reports and analyse data to provide insights into Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) and trends across both the education and financial services sectors.
Desirable- Data Technician Qualification, equivalent, or willing to work towards
- Knowledge & experience of working with ESFA data / funding rules
- Experience of using external platforms: BKSB, OneFile, LRS, DAS, ESFA Hub,
- Experience of working with QAR data and hybrid dates
Essential- Experience using an MIS / CRM system
- Experience running reports & manipulating data
- Experience of presenting complex data trends in a clear, visual dashboards
- Experience communicating effectively with stakeholders
Skills and Abilities
Essential- Advanced IT skills in all MS Office applications
- Advanced commands & formulas in Excel (Vlookup, nested formulas, macros / VBA…)
- Good attention to detail and logical thinking skills
