- The primary aim of this role is to lead and develop a team of both junior and experienced sales staff to establish productive client relationships across SMEs and apprenticeship levy-paying employers to support with the growth of our IT Solutions, Digital Marketing and Cyber Security apprenticeship provision. The successful candidate will achieve this via a pre-agreed employer engagement strategy that seeks to maximise the IT & digital talent streams generated from our ongoing series of Digital Skills Bootcamps. In addition to the leadership element, you yourself will also promote digital apprenticeships and digital skills bootcamp programmes, securing attractive and sustainable employment opportunities for our talent pools. In addition to generating new business, you will also work with a series of accounts to conduct ongoing and thorough digital training needs analysis to support the introduction of impactful training opportunities to both existing staff and new recruits (sourced by our dedicated talent attraction team). Relationship building through exceptionalcustomer service, market knowledge and an added value mindset is key. The rolewill include some regional/national travel as per the needs of our clients/business.The Person...A natural new business hunter and sales leader, you will be passionate about apprenticeships, with an excellent, up-to-date knowledge of the IT and digitalsectors, and experience of driving outstanding results through inspirationalleadership. As an engaging and self-motivated individual, you will also be adept atdeveloping productive, enduring client relationships while maintaining sufficientlyhigh outbound sales activity to maintain a healthy pipeline.The Package...• £40-50k base salary with OTE of 65k• An equity stake in the business for the right individual• The opportunity to create and develop a team around you• Joining a passionate, ambitious team with a great cultureKey Tasks & Accountabilities:• To lead and develop a team of both junior and experienced sales staff toestablish productive client relationships across SMEs and apprenticeshiplevy-paying employers• Development and execution of althaus business development strategy tomaximise utilisation of all available funding/revenue streams• Prospecting for new IT/digital apprenticeships and digital skills bootcampbusiness across a variety of sectors• Developing client relationships and increasing wallet-share• Conducting high quality and productive digital training needs analysisacross established client base• Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of all althausprogrammes• Delivering exceptional levels of customer service to our clients• Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales team targets• Submission of accurate and timely sales reports/forecasts• Maintenance of clear and accurate customer engagement records on CRM• Taking a ‘digital first’ approach whenever possible• Living and breathing the althaus values: ‘taking ownership’, ‘unlockingpotential’, ‘embracing the future’ and ‘bridging the digital divide’.Essential Qualifications & Knowledge• Exceptional leadership ability and coaching skills• High degree of personal integrity• Up to date knowledge of IT & digital sectors• Strong understanding of the apprenticeship levy and funding utilisationprocess for both levy and non-levy paying employers• Understanding of IT/digital apprenticeship standards (particularly DigitalMarketer L3, IT Solutions Technician L3 and Cyber Security L3&4)• Proven business development ability and comfortability working/leading ina target-driven environment• Confident presenting to both internal and external stakeholders at variouslevels: from senior management through to young people/apprentices• High standards of personal integrity, professional conduct and customerservice
