- THIS ROLE IS HOME BASED WITH NATIONAL TRAVEL
Our client is looking for a Head of Quality and Curriculum who will lead and be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a consistent, high-quality curriculum strategy and developing best practice standards in teaching, learning and assessment. Ultimately ensuring that the current and prospective learners, employer partners and other stakeholders always receive a high-quality experience that meets industry priorities.
You will be the Ofsted nominee for the company and will hold primary responsibility for ensuring Safeguarding practices and processes align to best practice standards and are embedded throughout the organisation. In addition, you will be required to lead the team to improve quality across delivery through support, monitoring, and intervention, ensuring that learners are safe and supported throughout their apprenticeship.
Your key responsibilities will include drafting the Quality Improvement Plan, Self Assessment Report, Quality Framework and Quality Cycle and ensure that progress is monitored against plan. You will be required to ensure quality improvement and continuous improvement activities with a keen focus on meeting and exceeding learner and employer expectations.
You will lead and implement the effective planning, sequencing and continuous improvement of curriculum to promote a positive learner experience at every stage of the learner journey, ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve outstanding success. To ensure the curriculum content and design re ect sector skills requirements, employer and learner need and meets the IfATE standards.
You will be required to develop and implement a Maths and English strategy that ensures timely and ongoing skills progression and implement an Additional Learning Needs strategy that ensures all learners are equipped to achieve and enhance their career opportunities.
To act as the main contact for external resource partners e.g., awarding organisations, EPAOs, publishers, learner, and employer support materials, etc.
To manage budgets as delegated by the Deputy Delivery Director and contribute to the company Business Plan and Strategy promoting excellence in curriculum resourcing, development, and delivery.
You will be a Member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Personal Specification:
· Degree level teaching &/or assessment qualification at level 4 or relevant equivalent experience
· GCSE English A-C, 9-4, NVQ level 2, O’Level A-D or equivalent
· Demonstrable experience of leading successful Ofsted inspections as lead nominee
· Recent, demonstrable experience of curriculum design, product development, assessment practice
· Demonstrable teaching or assessment experience
· Recent, demonstrable experience of improving standards of teaching and assessment
· Line Management experience in a remote/matrix structure Driving License
