This is a remote role (homebased)

As the Strategic Partnership Propositions Manager, working alongside the Head of Customer and Product Propositions, you will have the responsibility to develop and deliver strategic partnership opportunities with the objective of growing relationships, awareness and impact across a range of audiences. You will ensure that the propositions for our most strategically significant partners are developed and executed to the highest standards and that those relationships go on to achieve maximum impact.

Main Duties:
  • Develop and launch compelling propositions for new and existing strategic partners across key audiences (incl. employers, professional bodies, government, public sector).
  • Engage directly with partners to ensure their needs are fully understood.
  • Monitor and track market developments including competitor activity and identify new partnership opportunities, including tendering opportunities.
  • Manage existing partnerships to ensure they deliver maximum value
  • Work cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, policy, product and engagement teams to ensure excellent execution of partnership arrangements.
  • Support the procurement process for any new opportunities.
  • Ensure simplicity and clarity of marketing; sales messaging and promotional materials
  • Develop business case and proposals for specific partnership arrangements
  • Establish metrics for measuring progress of partnerships and effectiveness against KPIs.
  • Work closely with with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and communication to achieve maximum impact
  • Support high priority, high impact projects

Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working in proposition development in a B2B market
  • Experience of working with government and public sector organisations
  • Proven experience of supporting procurement processes
  • Experience of successful strategic planning and implementation and of working effectively with a broad range of senior customers, partners and stakeholders
  • Ideally knowledge of qualifications / accreditation within the further and higher education and corporate training markets.
  • Ability to bring simplicity and clarity to potentially complex propositions
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to deliver successful outcomes
  • Ability to exert influence at different levels and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  •  Strong team player who can communicate effectively across all levels and is flexible enough to meet changing operational demands.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful and digestible insights
  • Ability to innovate and develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Is entrepreneurial, innovative, and “thinks outside the box”
