Description
The Account Executive will proactively generate high-quality leads converting these to new business for the College. Priority will be in support of the sale of Apprenticeships with a sector specific focus. You will be required but not limited to promoting any other commercial opportunity that could be generated, including promoting T-Levels, VRQs, facilities, HE or short course provision.

Job Purpose:
  • To manage self-generated leads and referred leads from other sources ensuring a high conversion rate.
  • The Account Executive will sell our products and services promoting all that the College offers and deliver against the agreed target income levels as set within the annual business planning process.
  • To attend networking events and opportunities to promote the College; including those held outside of core working hours such as early mornings, in the evenings or at weekends; at Business to Business (B2B) and careers fairs events.
  • The Account Executive will ensure that agreed monthly targets for growth are met or exceeded in order to increase turnover and profitability for the College.
  • To carry out training needs analysis with external businesses, as required, to ensure that we recommend a range of training solutions to suit need.
  • The Account Executive will ensure that all engagement with customers is fully logged and evidenced on the CRM. To build and sustain account relationships relevant to sector areas and ensure that customers are happy with our service.
  • To handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating where required.
  • The Account Executive will refer business to the either delivery teams or commercial teams in a timely manner and record this information accurately on the CRM.
Undertake their duties in accordance with Group policy and procedures, particularly
with respect to:
  • Human Resources policies and procedures;
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion policies and procedures;
  • The Group’s health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Safeguarding and Prevent;
  • The Group’s policy on the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with data protection legislation

Experience:
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Proven track record of B2B Sales experience and building a productive rapport with potential customers/clients
  • Proven experience and business contacts in a Further Education sales role.

Qualifications:
  • Level 2 English & Maths
  • HND (or equivalent) or equivalent commercial experience
  • Level 3 or above Sales qualification
  • Level 3 or above Customer Services qualification
